The best place to farm Adamantite Ore was and still is Shadowmoon Valley. One 30 min session yielded me 63 Adamantite, 53 Fel Iron Ore, 7 Eternium Ore, 3 green gems, 60 Motes of Earth and 7 Motes of Fire. The zone is smaller than Nagrand, so each lap takes perhaps 12 minutes.

Zangarmarsh is by far the best place to get Fel Iron Ore (And quite a bit of Adamantite). It's VERY abundant there and it's incredibly fast. Basically all I do is I ride the entire edge of Zangarmarsh, all the way around, with my mount. In one trip I make on average 30 Fel Iron Ore, and about a halfstack of Adamantite.

Although Adamantite Ore can be found in several Outland zones, Nagrand takes the cake simply because it has several ogre caves and lairs in which only Adamantite Ore or Khorium Ore can spawn, so you can basically filter out Fel Iron Ore if you only want Adamantite..
